Salt (ソルト, Soruto) is an outgoing male Season Fairy apprentice who is following in his father's footsteps to become a Sun Fairy, making the sun shine more brightly with a trumpet.
He is best friends with Sugar and Pepper, joining them in the human world in their search of a "Twinkle" that will allow them to become fully fledged Season Fairies. He is shown to admire Turmeric, and the clouds he makes, later on in the series.
Salt appears to hate Sugar giving him kisses and becomes flustered when she tries, though it is speculated that he may have a hidden liking for her.
